In light of the Pandemic, most colleges are implementing COVID-19 symptom tracking methods for students.
Hood has adopted the Campus Clear app in efforts to protect the community and slow the spread of the virus.
Students are asked to complete the brief reflection each day before going to class or coming on campus. If they display any of the related symptoms, it’s advised they attend class virtually.
Last week, Residence Life held a contest from Oct. 26- Nov. 1, which tracked what residence hall had the highest participation rate on the app.
Smith Hall won and will receive free Chipotle for their efforts.
“The Campus Clear contest was made to motivate students to fill out the apps survey every morning consecutively. We want it to become second nature for the students to fill out.” Lily Bean said.
