{"id":8527,"date":"2025-11-12T17:45:46","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T22:45:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblueandgrey.com\/?p=8527"},"modified":"2025-11-12T17:45:50","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T22:45:50","slug":"cast-members-preparing-for-tell-me-something-good-play","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblueandgrey.com\/index.php\/2025\/11\/12\/cast-members-preparing-for-tell-me-something-good-play\/","title":{"rendered":"Cast Members Preparing for \u201cTell Me Something Good\u201d Play"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Christopher Bower\/\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hood College Theatre is preparing for the performance of&nbsp;the play \u201cTell Me Something Good,\u201d&nbsp;a &#8220;patchwork play&#8221; consisting of different parts and characters connected by a single theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The free show will run from Friday, Nov. 21, until Sunday, Nov. 23, in the Black Box theater in Tatem Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of the seven cast members will play multiple roles. One actor, Eyob Jigsa, said that he had \u201cfive total main roles\u201d to play for the performance and \u201ctwo to three background characters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The play contains heavy themes, including suicide; however, Aaron Angello, assistant professor of English at Hood College and director of the theater program, stated that he does not believe any controversy will arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat\u2019s part of what plays do,\u201d Angello said.
