John Bragel, the director of Dining Services, said many students have told him how much they miss King.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJoe King was an amazing person who loved working at Hood,” Bragel said. “He was here since my first day at Hood. He had a tremendous smile and a focused work ethic. I have nothing but respect for all Joe did while working at Hood. We truly enjoyed working together. I knew if Joe was on the job, all would be good. It\u2019s still such a shock to not have him with us. He is deeply missed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJoe’s passing was an unexpected tragedy and devastating blow to the temperament of our Food Service program,\u201d chef Baelyn Cureton said. \u201cJoe brought an undeniable presence and energy to our program that couldn’t be matched by anyone else. His dedication to our customers and his friendly and compassionate approach to his fellow employees will be impossible to replace.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
