Hood College will host its annual \u201cSuit-Up\u201d event on Saturday, April 26, at the Francis Scott Key Mall in partnership with JCPenney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national event, sponsored by JCPenney, is designed to provide students with access to professional clothing, accessories, salon services, and cosmetics at significantly discounted prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur first time hosting the event was last year, and we\u2019d love to see more students\u2014especially those seeking internships or jobs\u2014take advantage of this opportunity to build a professional wardrobe,\u201d said Lisa Littlefield, dean of the Center for Career Development and Experiential Education at Hood College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will be held at the JCPenney store located in the Francis Scott Key Mall from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on April 26. The first 20 attendees will receive a $20 JCPenney gift card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the Suit-Up event, Hood\u2019s Career Center provides year-round support through its on-campus \u201ccareer closet,\u201d which offers students free access to professional clothing in a variety of sizes and styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Career Center also features a LinkedIn photobooth, allowing students to take a professional headshot for their profiles. Students are welcome to borrow attire from the career closet for their photo sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
