The Feminist Student Union at Hood College is a welcoming space for students interested in discussing feminism, gender equality and social justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club is open to all, regardless of gender or background, and it fosters enriching conversations on issues affecting women and marginalized communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Uncensored series” which is an ongoing project in partnership with the Beneficial-Hodson Library plans to go beyond a conversation and provide access to menstrual hygiene products, on campus and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll staff and students are welcome to join us during our Uncensored series to participate in enriching conversations on feminism” club leader, Sarah Setiawan, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These conversations allow students to share perspectives and learn from one another in a supportive environment, she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 25th, join the feminist student union in discussing the past, present, and future of the worldwide feminist movement from 7 p.m to 8 p.m in Whit 220.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club\u2019s overall goal is to create an equal and inclusive environment for both women and men through fun gatherings that may involve crafting. They kicked off women’s history with an event titled ‘Frames for Feminism.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese impactful programs create valuable learning opportunities, foster a welcoming culture, and contribute to an inclusive environment within the Hood College community,\u201d said Al-Dajane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Feminist Student Union continues to provide a space for meaningful dialogue, advocacy, and action, ensuring students have a platform to discuss and promote gender equality on campus and beyond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
