Her research focuses on race and politics and public policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tucker-Worgs was chosen by the senior class to be the commencement speaker. \u201cThe class council came to the decision of Dr. Tucker-Worgs based on feedback from students and our sense of who would be meaningful in this moment of time,\u201d&nbsp;class president Isabella DiPietrantonio said.&nbsp;\u201cWe found it important to choose someone who relates to us and understands us as students and people.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DiPietrantonio said Tucker-Worgs has created a safe space for students through her involvement on campus.
