Fast-break plays and key defensive stops momentarily cut the deficit, but York effectively managed the clock in the final minutes, securing an 85-69 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the game, head coach Chad Dickman reflected on the team\u2019s effort, acknowledging the sacrifices of the seniors and the disappointment of missing a historic championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Really tough loss tonight,” he said. “I feel bad for our seniors that played their last game in a Blazer uniform. They were huge reasons why our program is where it is right now, and they were only one win away from being the all-time winningest class in school history.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Blazers\u2019 16-10 record was built on a mix of offensive firepower and defensive resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Linton, a standout performer, recorded multiple double-doubles, while Kullen Robinson and Cox provided crucial scoring and rebounding support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the season\u2019s defining moments came on Feb. 18, when Hood secured a hard-fought victory over Alvernia. In that contest, Linton led the charge with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, while Robinson added 20 points and eight rebounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Blazers’ relentless offensive attack and trapping defense limited Alvernia\u2019s opportunities. A last-second 3-pointer by Cox sealed the win and a playoff berth for the Blazers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
