For many people, the fall season is hallmarked by apple cider, pumpkin spice-flavored beverages, hayrides and getting lost in corn mazes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you are looking for a place to experience all of that and more, look no further than the Cornfusion Corn Maze, located only an hour away from Hood at 2020 Garrett Road, Manchester, Maryland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open to people of all ages with a fee of $20 per adult, there are many sources of entertainment that can be found within the vast property. Most of the activities are free and included in the entrance fee, with a few exceptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Visitors can pay an extra $3 to feed the goats, chickens, rabbits, geese and horses in the petting zoo, or $5 to shoot apples from an apple blaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are pedal race cars, inflatable bouncy houses, a pumpkin patch, slides, playgrounds, a nature walk, pony rides and so much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For those with an athletic inclination, there is an area where visitors can spend their time shooting basketballs, throwing footballs and pitching baseballs to measure their throwing speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The biggest attraction, however, is the nine-acre corn maze which visitors can take a short hayride to get to. According to Cornfusion employees, the maze takes an average of an hour to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is my first time here,\u201d Grace Konklin, a mom of two daughters, said. \u201cI was looking on Facebook for fun things to do with the family and stumbled upon Cornfusion\u2019s page. It looked like a lot of fun and something my girls would enjoy doing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While Cornfusion might seem like it is geared toward children, there are still plenty of activities that anyone regardless of age can enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy friends and I come here every fall,\u201d college student Tori Burke said. \u201cI don\u2019t care if I\u2019m 21, I\u2019ll still jump in the bouncy houses and go down the slides.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
