Homecoming Weekend <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As students take on the first semester at Hood College, events on campus are occurring every week. But one that catches attention a little bit more is the 2022 Homecoming Family Weekend from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a weekend where families can come experience a part of the life that their kids are living here at Hood. Events start on Friday as a barbeque dinner will be held at Coblentz dining hall if you are a guest, it will be $10.75. Along with The Spoon: The art of Jim Condron from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday, Field Hockey hosts Lebanon Valley College at 1 pm, with Women’s soccer hosting Alvernia College at 4 pm. On the night slate Men\u2019s Soccer hosts Alvernia College at 7 pm, all of these sporting events will be held at Thomas Athletic Field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sticking with athletics, both baseball and softball have alumni games on Saturday, softball begins their alumni game at noon as baseball starts at 3 pm at Frederick Community College, if canceled due to inclement weather an update will be released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other events occurring this weekend include Pastries with the President, which is by invitation only; Hood Scavenger Hunt; an outdoor showing of “Black Panther;” alumni and family swim party; and much more. As both first year and returning students are highly excited for this event-filled weekend, the excitement is building for the families who will be participating in this weekend as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be a weekend for students, faculty, families, and alumni to come together and enjoy an event-filled weekend and share the Hood College experience with all. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
