Work is progressing on a $39 million renovation of Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium.

The project comes as the Frederick Keys, the Orioles’ High-A affiliate, prepares to return to Frederick for the upcoming 2026 season, marking the Keys’ return to Minor League baseball for the first time since 2020.

The Keys will play in the South Atlantic League, continuing their long-standing relationship with the Baltimore Orioles.

The renovation, designed to meet Major League Baseball’s Professional Development League standards, will enhance the experience for both players and fans. Plans include a new home and visiting clubhouse, modern batting cages, new bullpens, an expanded concourse and additional seating options.

Work is expected to continue through early spring 2026, but construction will not affect the Keys’ ability to play at Nymeo Field.

Whiting-Turner Construction, Little Diversified Architectural Consulting and Canopy Team are partnering with Attain Sports and the City of Frederick on the project.
