Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch hosted a goat yoga session on Oct. 5, in partnership with Crystal’s Funny Farm LLC.

Crystal’s Funny Farm, a family-run business, specializes in traveling goat yoga sessions for events of all sizes. The company also offers goat-cuddling experiences.

The event at Jumbo’s welcomed a small group from the Middletown community for a 60-minute flow-yoga session, where participants practiced surrounded by playful goats.

After yoga, attendees enjoyed 30 minutes of goat snuggles. Admission to goat yoga also included access to Jumbo’s Weekend Fall Festival.

Instructor Sarah Lodori, a resident, led the yoga session, which took place against the scenic backdrop of Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch Farm.

Lodori is certified through a comprehensive Yin Yoga program that combines 200-hour and 300-hour training. Her studies included advanced Ashtanga and Yin styles, anatomy, philosophy, and pranayama—reflecting her deep commitment to the practice.

“I loved that it was really a new experience, and I got to hold a baby goat,” said Middletown resident Katie Hash. “It was a little messier than I anticipated, but I loved it.”

Hash, who brought a friend along, said she frequently visits Jumbo’s with her family. “I haven’t done the yoga here before, but I’ve been to Jumbo’s with my kids many times, and we love it here. It’s beautiful.”
