Hood says farewell to senior athletes. Some notable players are:
Garrison Linton

Garrison Linton finished his senior season at Hood College with a strong all-around performance, leading the team in several key categories. He totaled 349 points while shooting 54 percent from the field — the third-highest mark in the MAC Commonwealth. Linton also recorded 154 rebounds, 155 assists (which led the conference), and 42 steals (third in the MAC).
This season marked the second straight year Linton earned First-Team All-MAC Commonwealth honors and the third time he was named to the All-Conference list.
Linton played at Oakdale High School, where he was a four-year Honor Roll student, team captain, and All-Frederick County Honorable Mention. He also helped lead the Maryland Playmakers to an AAU State Championship.
Reflecting on his time at Hood, Linton said, “My favorite memories would definitely be playing in the NCAA tournament and winning the championship my freshman year.”
After graduation, Linton plans to continue playing basketball overseas and hopes to pursue coaching and training young athletes. “After graduation, I plan to continue playing basketball overseas and continue coaching and training kids,” he said.
Linton’s contributions to the Blazers — both statistically and as a leader — leave a strong legacy as he prepares for the next chapter of his career.
Robbie Wiley

Robbie Wiley, a midfielder from York, Pennsylvania, has wrapped up a standout career with Hood College men’s lacrosse. As of April 28, Wiley ranks among the most accomplished players in program history.
In the 2025 season, Wiley led the Blazers offensively. Through two games, he scored eight goals, registered 20 shots, and posted a .400 shooting percentage. He also scored one game-winner. His most memorable performance came when he netted five goals — including a double-overtime game-winner — to lift Hood past Shenandoah University, 8–7.
Wiley’s four-year career totals include 153 goals, 26 assists, and 179 points. He also excelled academically, earning a spot on the 2022 MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Reflecting on his time at Hood, Wiley said, “My favorite memory was my junior year in 2024, beating Eastern University on our senior day for the first time in program history — and then doing it again in 2025, beating Widener for the first time on senior day.”
Following graduation, Wiley plans to return to York to begin a career in business management within the vending industry and enjoy golfing in his free time. “My post-grad plans are to move back to York, Pennsylvania, and begin building my experiences and career in business management in the vending industry while golfing in my free time,” he said.
Katie Driscoll

Katie Driscoll from Woodsboro, Maryland, has been a key contributor to Hood College’s women’s golf team throughout her career. Known for her consistent play and leadership, Driscoll played a pivotal role in the Blazers’ development and success.
In the 2024–25 season, Driscoll led the team with several standout performances. At the Cardinal Fall Classic, she shot consecutive rounds of 83, finishing 15th overall and helping the team place fifth. At the Lady Lions Fall Invitational, she posted an 86 to finish fourth individually and helped the team secure a third-place finish — just two strokes behind the winner. She also recorded a personal-best 36-hole score of 174 (87-87) at the 2023 Cardinal Classic, tying for 22nd place.
Reflecting on her favorite memories, Driscoll said, “Some of my favorite memories were when we went on spring break to Myrtle and Charleston. Also, all of the van rides and Sheetz runs before tournaments are where I feel like our best memories were made. Thomas did his best to take us to as many tournaments as possible at the coolest courses, and during our final week, we won two of our last three.”
After graduation, Driscoll plans to begin her professional career at LandCare in an accounting role, to become a financial analyst. “Golf-wise, I’d love to play in the occasional scramble tournament,” she said.
Grace Koehler
Grace Koehler, a defender from Glen Burnie, Maryland, has been a cornerstone of the Hood College women’s lacrosse team. Known for her defensive skill and leadership, Koehler played a key role throughout her four-year career.

In the 2025 season, she appeared in 10 games, scored two goals, and collected 12 ground balls. On the defensive end, she consistently disrupted opponents and anchored the Blazers’ backline.
Koehler’s time at Hood is defined by her dedication both on and off the field. Reflecting on her favorite memories, she said, “One of my favorite memories is beating West Conn by one my junior year, beating Alvernia in OT this year, and scoring my first goal this year at St. Vincent.”
Looking ahead, Koehler plans to pursue a master’s degree in healthcare informatics and analytics. “I’m graduating with a bachelor’s in mathematics. I plan to get a master’s in health care informatics/analytics, hopefully, land a job in some sort of data analytics soon — and definitely get my own dog at some point,” she said.
