Field of Screams is back for another year of haunted house action.
The attraction will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as most Thursdays from until to Oct. 31.
This year there are two trails that total more than 50 stations to scare customers.
The Haunted Trail is 26 stations of Campground fears that wind through the haunted forest of Field of Screams Maryland. The Trail of Terror includes a 30-minute terrifying walk through a haunted forest best known for its 29 small, haunted houses scattered throughout the darkest and scariest woods you can imagine.
Combined this is the longest haunted trail in the country.
The final attraction is the Slaughter Factory. The story says that the Slaughter Factory was once a booming business until power and greed got to the owner. Now it’s an old, rusted building that houses a maniac.
This year customers buy one single ticket that allows entrance for both trails as well as the Slaughter Factory haunted house at a cost of $62.28 after tax
Field of Screams also offers axe throwing, ring toss and bean bag pumpkin toss for an additional $15 at checkout.
Tickets can be purchased online only for the main attractions and on-site for the additional carnival games. In the event of steady rain, the attractions will be closed for the remainder of that day.
The Field of Screams Maryland location can be found at 4501 Olney Laytonsville Rd. Olney, MD 20832
