Places to celebrate after graduation

Hood Hood hooray, you made it to graduation! Here are some great spots to celebrate with your friends and family.

Brewer’s Alley

124 N Market St.

A Downtown Frederick staple. The menu was recently updated but still features American-style cuisine and a variety of alcoholic drinks (for people over 21). Brewer’s Alley has a lot of options, even for people who are vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free. Some of the food they serve are salads, wraps, burgers, pasta and steak. The restaurant has reasonable prices, and the staff is attentive.

Lazy Fish

10 E Patrick St.

Lazy Fish is a casual and fun restaurant. They specialize in sushi, but they also serve soups, salads, noodles, wings and sashimi.  The staff is nice and will happily explain anything on the menu. The restaurant is small, so this is a good option for a small group of your friends and family.

Wag’s Restaurant

24 S Market St.

Wag’s was voted to have the Best Hamburger in Frederick Magazine’s “Best of Frederick” list in 2022, but they also have other options like soups, salads and subs. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is cozy and the prices are lower than most restaurants downtown. Wag’s does not take reservations, so be sure to get to this restaurant early.

Pretzel and Pizza Creations

210 N Market St.

Pretzel and Pizza Creations is small, so this will be suitable for small groups or for carry-out. The restaurant has a lot of options like soft and stuffed pretzels, salads, sandwiches that are served on pretzel focaccia, pretzel-wrapped Oreos and Reese’s, and milkshakes that you can add a shot of liquor to (also for people over 21). Everyone in your party should be able to find something to eat here.

Their fresh ice cream, milkshakes, and pizzas come from a 3,300-acre farm in Middletown Valley. They have friendly staff, quick service and ample seating indoors to accommodate large groups.
