Homecoming Weekend

As students take on the first semester at Hood College, events on campus are occurring every week. But one that catches attention a little bit more is the 2022 Homecoming Family Weekend from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2.
This is a weekend where families can come experience a part of the life that their kids are living here at Hood. Events start on Friday as a barbeque dinner will be held at Coblentz dining hall if you are a guest, it will be $10.75. Along with The Spoon: The art of Jim Condron from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.
On Saturday, Field Hockey hosts Lebanon Valley College at 1 pm, with Women’s soccer hosting Alvernia College at 4 pm. On the night slate Men’s Soccer hosts Alvernia College at 7 pm, all of these sporting events will be held at Thomas Athletic Field.
Sticking with athletics, both baseball and softball have alumni games on Saturday, softball begins their alumni game at noon as baseball starts at 3 pm at Frederick Community College, if canceled due to inclement weather an update will be released.
Other events occurring this weekend include Pastries with the President, which is by invitation only; Hood Scavenger Hunt; an outdoor showing of “Black Panther;” alumni and family swim party; and much more. As both first year and returning students are highly excited for this event-filled weekend, the excitement is building for the families who will be participating in this weekend as well.
This will be a weekend for students, faculty, families, and alumni to come together and enjoy an event-filled weekend and share the Hood College experience with all.
