Director of Wellness Teresa Cevallos retired from Hood College on Jan. 29.
Cevallos originally planned to retire at the end of the Spring 2020 semester, but agreed to stay with the college to help navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. She helped plan testing and enforced safety protocols.
“Her genuine care and concern for the well-being of students, faculty and staff has had such a positive impact on our campus community over the years,” President Chapdelaine said in an email.
Cevallos has worked at Hood College for 12 years, serving as staff nurse, director of Health Services and lastly director of Wellness.
Cevallos is handing over the reins to Amanda Rzepkowski, who started at the college Jan. 25.
