She is the author of “Eloquent Rage: A Black Feminist Discovers Her Superpowers” and “Beyond Respectability: The Intellectual Thought of Race Women” as well as co-author and editor of “The Crunk Feminist Collection.” Her work has been featured in the New York Times\, New York Magazine\, the Los Angeles Times\, MSNBC\, BET\, NPR\, PBS and more. \n\n\n\nThis event is sponsored by the Hanson Lecture Series through the Foundation for Enhancing Communities.
