Going to college is expensive, and most college students need money.
Many students are always looking for new scholarships and grants to help with college tuition, room and board and other college expenses. Our continuing series explores scholarships that can help offset the costs.
Aaliyah Lee Scholarship
The Aaliyah Lee scholarship is available to anyone who is enrolled full-time in college or university, has a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and has been very involved in volunteering in their community.
Applicants must submit an official transcript from their college or university, fill out the online application and write a personal statement about themselves and their background of volunteering.

BHW Scholarship
BHW scholarships are available to any female student enrolled full-time in undergraduate or graduate school with at least one year left before graduation, studying a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related field.
Applicants must fill out the application on the website and write a 500-to-800-word essay based on the prompt listed on the application.
Applications will open in January 2025 and must be submitted before April 15, 2025. Winners will be announced in mid-May. More information about this scholarship can be found athttps://thebhwgroup.com/scholarship.
David Malcolm Scholarship
The David Malcolm Scholarship is available to any students enrolled full-time with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Applicants must fill out the form listed on the website and write a 1,000-word essay, responding to the prompt listed on the form.
